Lonn was the living Lincoln at the grand opening of Portraying Lincoln: Man of Many Faces in Decatur, Illinois in June 2008.
At the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum Grand Opening April 16-19, 2005 in Springfield Lonn mingled with the crowds as Lincoln and presented A. Lincoln: A Touch of the Poet in the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library's atrium on April 17.
Presented a speech on the use of the telegraph and the relationshop between communications and transportation to the opening ceremony of the 10th Annual Conference of the Rural Telecommunications Congress October 14th, 2007
Was the "Lincoln" at the June 10-12, 2005 Missouri Historical Society event called "The American Presidency: A Glorious Burden" & appeared again at the Missouri Historical Society's birthday party for Mr. Lincoln in 2009
Lincoln in Chicago's Taste of Chicago: Illinois Bureau of Tourism July 2005. Lonn appeared in interactive posters in bus shelter locations in downtown Chicago for the IBOT, May through June 2007.

Portrayed Lincoln at the re-dedication of the Lincoln Courthouse at the Macon County Historical Society sponsored by the DAR Association and Lonn as Lincoln represented the Macon County Historical Society at the 2007 Business Expo at the Decatur Area Civic Center.
